communication gear

what you guys using for com gear after shtf
cb's,ham,etc?
just looking for some ideas
i might possibly look into some 10 meter radios after finacial situation gets better
and i learn more about them
anyone with any experince?

I only have FMRS radios that are rechargable. I can recharge them with my vehicle using a 300w power inverter.

I would like to upgrade to some higher tech gear at some point but it has not happened yet.

Superior is the guy to talk to about commo. He has his Ham license and used to be really into that stuff.

hey superior we get some help on this topic?

im looking for something probably ham
something that is easy to get a lic for or one thats doesnt need a lic
20 mile range< if possible

I need to get a CB in our other two vehicles at least. I would like to have a scanner as well and even a home base CB. On an unrelated topic, I would also like to get some night vision.
