| I got a good recipe for Peach Cobbler off of Byrons Dutch Oven recipes and it worked well last time. I plan on cooking some more with it up in ME this year, maybe try that Mountain Man breakfast again with less taters.
I picked up a lid hook to make it easier to rotate the pot and remove the lid. I would like to get the tripod but it's hard to buy one when I can just make one on site.......maybe make a stew?

| A stew would be cool,I will take a look around at some recipes and see if I can find anything that sounds good. | |

| I've seen a few recipes for squirrel that should be cooked all day... if anyone kills some squirrels you could try something like that. | |

I will have to check the Regs but I do not think there is a season for Grey Squirrel in Maine. They treat red squirell up there as a nuisance animal and have no bag limit but they are tiny and I have not heard of anyone eating them. I'll try 'em though. I used to eat Grey squirell a lot when I was younger but never tried a Red...First time for everything!

| I've heard that red squirrel isn't worth eating...it is supposed to be tougher than gray squirrel and too much work...according to the Maine fish and wildlife website, they have a gray squirrel season running from Oct 1st to Dec 31st.
Do you guys not normally see any gray squirrels up there?
