Whats in your BOB?

Shouldn't there be an obligatory "What's in your BOB" Post on here?

Yup, there should be. I plan on building a patrol pack as I do not plan to Bug-Out anywhere but everyones plans are different. So if you have some gear put together lets see some lists, or even better post up some pictures.

Unfortunatley my neck of the woods is not very conducive to "bugging in." In reality it'd probably be a tough area to bug out of too!! Never the less, better to be prepared I guess.

I don't have any pictures yet, I'll try to get some up soon. Right now the thing is set up for winter but I have a Molle II patrol pack with:

First Aid Kit (too much to list but it has all the essentials, and some over the counter meds. and broad spectrum antibiotics and some vet stuff)

I think that's it! I have packet modularly so its easy to get to everything and I can dump something if need be. My gf has a similar set up but with the appropriate femal requirements!

I'm sure there are some things I can improve and theres other items I'd like to buy/swap out with what I have, but its better than nothing right?

I will post my BOB tomorrow, when I can open it up an list its contents. I do believe that there should be two BOB's, one for gear/supplies/equipment and one for weapons/ammo/mags/chest rig.

Bosun- Add some Tabasco to your food list, it makes eating roadkill or other nasties more tolerable if need be. I have some tiny bottles of it, that may have came in an MRE pack, but definetly add some if you don't mind spicy.

We need more cool smilies that represent true drunkeness, although I would hate to get rid of The Patriots favorites- and the .

So that tomorrow came and went and I still heven't posted my kit yet. I am gonna pull out my bag right now. It's a North Face base camp duffle size large. Super strong bag, water proof with shoulder pads and carry handle.

So....I need to go through this. Granted, this is just mainly a gear bag. If such a situation arises, if you have time to grab one bag, you have time to grab another or two on the way out the door. If you are in that much of a hurry you can only grab one thing....grab yer ass cause you in the shit!!

I just started putting together a patrol pack last week. It will probably be another week or so before I figure out exactly what I want in it. So far all I have done is build a First-Aid kit for it.

Next is fire starting and some cooking/water treatment.

I went through mine a few months back and tossed some old MRE's that were in there. I have 550 para cord, some flimsy poncho's pull pin smoke nade, pull string day night signal, light sticks, sterno stove (which is getting thrown out) lots of fire starting stuff, mess kit, and other sundry items. I need to sit down and make a list of stuff to go in there and get some backpacking food to go with it as well..
