New knife I got

We were at a gunshow friday night and found this knife at one of the tables. Some were pretty crude with grinds all over the place but his most expensive knife was around $250 and he was using cool wood for the handles. I picked this one up for $49 and it's made of 1095 steel with wood that he called "purple heart". It definitely needs an edge put on it. I figure it is a one of knife and at a reasonable price, plus, might as well hook up a guy that was passionate about his shit. The makers name is Bob Rose.

I like it. Nice traditional looking design. I imagine for that price that it did not come with a sheath?

Nope, he did wrap it in a plastic bag and put it in a paper bag though.

If that knife still needs an edge put on it you should send it on up! My buddy Jeff can put an insane razor edge on anything. He has even been doing convex edges lately.

Yeah, it needs it bad. I may send it up shortly, gonna try and make a sheath for it first.

I have a knife I need a sheath for also. I'm going to place an orderin the next week or two and buy some leather working supplies and give it a try.
