Some of my magazines for my DSA SA-58 were in need of some paint and one needed a spring replaced. I just hit them with some sand paper to clean them up a bit. I then used white gas to remove any oil or dust and then hit them with some flat brown spray paint.

Rebuilding magazines will be more and more common as they get more and more expensive and harder to find. I need to get a mag brush and go to town. I have at least 50 ar-15 mags that need a once over to check for debris and reliability. Not to mention I need to check the 20 or so used FAL magazines I have gotten via mail order the last few months. Awesome job thanks for the great post!
