I have a few of the Silver Eagles, along with some other silver and rare coins that I have collected over the years. My Grandmother gives me some every year at Christmas.

I finally got around to reading Kaiser's link and not to be blunt but if what the author predicts for the Summer actually coems true, having gold and silver will not be much help. A collapse like he describes will put many more out of work and possibly worse. Food, water and other preps will be what saves the day in my opinion. I personally do not see many people giving up what supplies they have (knowing they will not be able to replace them) for a chunk of gold or silver.
