Gun show score

I went to a gun show earlier today in Durham CT and did a decent job on finding deals on ammo.

17 boxes of 7x57 in brown Century boxes for $40

28 rounds of bagged 30/30 (8 rounds are Lever Evelution) for $12

100 rounds wolf 308 for $45

700 rounds assorted bagged 22mag for $36

20 rounds assorted 7x57 for $15

20 rounds Remington 7x57 for $19

I put a box of the Century 7mm through my Mauser and had some cases split up on the neck. The headstamp is dated 1920 so I guess I should not be to surprised.

For $2 a box I'm not to upset about it.

Nice job on the .22 mag. I've been hitting every Wally world I can looking for .22lr. It's real scarce. Non existent on the web. Today I scored 3000 rounds of Winchester Xpert at 12.87 a box at my local China mart. $36 for 700 rounds of mag is pretty good.

I'm aiming for 10K rounds of .22. The search continues!

Tree of liberty, I have been plinking with the centurion .22 lr and it is going for 20 a brick of 500. Runs my mosquito great so far.

Where do you get the Centurion?

I'm doing an Appleseed shoot this weekend. I'll need to replentish some stock when I get back. Maybe I'll try that stuff.
