A gun grab in the US is not likely to happen IMO. There are to many guns and to many Patriots that would not comply.

I think that legislation will be the way the Man snuffs out our second Amendment and takes guns away from honest Patriots. Little by little laws will be enacted banning XYZ and then more laws to make what you already own unable to be given to relatives or sold. In short the assalut weapons of today will be banned and owners will have no way to either sell them or give them to relatives. The only way out will be to give them up or face prison.

Eventually some crazy tax will also be added to both ammo and firearms making it hard for blue collar workers to even afford the sport of target shooting and hunting. These passtimes will be left for the rich like in europe.

I agree, Hell look at the other post about them trying to ban pocket knives. They just turn the heat up slowly and we can't do crap about it.

I see the tax on ammo and super strict guidelines that gun manufacturers will need to follow. They may require that guns have high tech and complex safeties that will drive up the price of guns so we cannot afford them. I can see them pulling these shady tactics in the near future.
