Makarov VS .32 acp PPK

Here is the makarov VS ppk video....I wish we had .380 PPK

The makarov is slightly wider, I forgot to cover that in the video..

For some reason I thought the Mak would be much bigger. This backs up my dislike of the 32acp even more. Why carry such a heavy gun with such a wimpy cartridge? What is the energy camparison like between the two?

So 9x18 almost has over twice the energy of .32 acp... (9X18 Makarov 211 ft lbs) VS (.32 Acp @ 133 FT LBS)

That is a big differance in muzzle energy. I guess any caliber is better then throwing rocks though

If you can hit center of mass with a double tap or two double taps and the ammo expands I feel .32 would put someone down for good. I prefer to go no lower than .380... I used to be a 9mm minimum CCW until I moved to Florida. Most times I carry a .357 snub nose with the silver tipped Glasier saftey slugs

(They penetrate a tad deeper before exploding into a hundred pieces. I use them just incase someone has heavy clothing on or a leather jacket.
I carry a rossi which is damn accurate and I don't care if it gets taken as evidence for a few months then gets lost[
