Being addicted to a good cup of Joe, I'm to give this stuff a try.
It's a packet of coffee extract that makes individual cups with either hot or cold water. If it tastes ok it will be a good item for me to have in my pack as I will be able to have a cup of coffee without having to use fuel or a coffee pot!

thats pretty awesome...I wonder how they taste...coffee is a hit or miss kind of flavor...let us know how they are!
you should drink a packet without watering it down!

Along the same lines as "cool things for your pack"...
Check out Camelbak's Elixir tablets. They are about $10.00 for 12 tablets. You just drop them in to 24oz of water (specifically designed for camelbak hydration packs, but you can use them however.) and they add electrolytes (and flavor) to your water.
This is a good way to both replenish salts lost while sweating and flavor nasty treated water. I believe some of them come with caffiene in them also for a little extra somthin' somthin'
