That is a big ass bear!!
I'm suprised the dogs didn't hit on the bear before it charged...it says they were hunting dogs...wierd

The same thing occured to me about the dogs not catching a scent that the bear was in the area. Makes you wonder if he used the charging bear story to cover him killing a problem bear

Maybe he just really wanted a new rug!
It says that he took the bear to a taxidermist then picked up the carcass to dispose of at the dump....
