At a gun show yesterday and noticed a lot of gun prices were down. Ak's for $299 to $500 and a $480 Golani Galil. If you have the Trump buy one and hold onto it. STG-556 is in my somewhat near future.

Sterling 9mm-(Now with Pics)

While perusing the local gun store the other day, we came across this gem in the case. I didn't even know they were coming out. Apparently they are only distributed by CAI and not built by them, but by Wise Lite Arms. We handled it and was slightly heavy with a thick coating of some type of parkerizing. Range report Galil and FAL and Socom II

Finally got the socom II sighted in. Now I can just use the side clicker for elevation on the rear sight.. The fal was off a little to the left but with no sight tool not much I can do, Was only an inch high and left. She is dirty also so once I clean her good I will try again. The Galil was 9 inches high at 25 yards think my ak sight adjuster can handle some of that but no malfunctions. Also set ...

Marlin 60 or Mossberg Plinkster

Due to budgetary concerns brought on by my impending wedding (which I am paying for) I am in the market for an inexpensive .22 rimfire for Maine.

I've been considering either the mossberg 820 plinkster of the Marlin 60.

I know there are better choices for a .22, but I still think these are the best choices for lower priced guns...

Any Thoughts?

Saw a Sterling at the store today for $495, supposedly only has a 100 rounds through it. Not a bad price.

Barrel shroud on Sterling

I just got this barrel shroud in from Wise Lite to cover the BS compliant barrel sticking out the front. It looks a bit better, almost like a silencer. Although it did add a frigin' pound to the gun, oh well. Note the straight Sten mag sticking out the side, only $5 for them, just have to function test them.
