| I had the barrel cut back on my Stevens Model 520 this past weekend. I would like to turn it into a 520 trench model without the $1000 price tag. I obtained this scattergun for free and the barrel cut cost me nothing. The big hit will be in purchasing the heat shield bayonet mount combo. The last time I checked on the reproduction models they were around $180. Here is the gun so far. I added a true glow snap on site for know until a bead is tapped on. [img] [/img] [img] [/img] | |

| I still think it should have got the "breacher" look with the triangle cut but it looks good. The barrel metal is thick enough, it would be nasty with a capital N, then get "Nasty" engraved on the stock. Then when the SHTF you can say "It's time to get Nasty!" | |

| My 520 is a slightly shorter but still legal. I love them guns like that. Breacher would be cool if you had a spare barrel to do it on. Hey when I shot the skeet range 100 rounds with my 520 cylinder bore and #8 estate loads I still scored a 50%! Great Guns and Well worth the money. Just keep the mag tube tight or you will get misfires when it loosens up. It takes alot for it to loosen though and the gun feels like it is on hot buttered ball bearings when you pump it. God I love the feel of a pump shot gun early in the morning | |
