I went to the range finally
and tried out some new additions to the serious firepower family of fun. I will cover each one in a separate post for your enjoyment! There was no recoil to speak of making this a great gun for recoil sensitive people. Having 16 rounds of .45 acp on tap is also a bonus. The handle is very comfortable for a high cap .45 and I do enjoy the ergonomics of this gun.
I shot the FNP .45 at various ranges of 21' to 25 yards. Accuracy was not up to par BUT that could have been from numerous other factors as well. I used shitty independence ammo and my glasses were fogging up. The light level was extremely low inside the range. I could keep them on a torso target but they seemed to want to go all over.
Granted it is not a match gun so I don't expect super accuracy. I have a feeling it was the ammo since that box had 4 crushed rounds in it. I have never gotten a box of ammo with bad rounds in it let alone 4 rounds!
Reliability was rock solid though. No jams or misfeeds. Just shot and shot with no hitch. This one can be relied upon to work when called upon. Just not sure if it can be called upon to hit with precision. I will report back after I try some different ammo.
