This lil sucker was a handful. I tried it with Georgia Arms .44 special 200 grain Speer Gold Dots. They had some zing. The problem with this gun is the trigger pull. I could not hit crap with it at any decent range. For close range it was fine and since it was intended for a carry gun it wasn't meant for 25 yard shots.
The speer gold dots had some kick and it felt like slightly more than a some of the hotter .357 mag loads. No where near the winchester black box 180 grain .357 hunting loads though!!!
I also shot some american brand .44 special flat nose lead rounds and holy shit did they blow some smoke. Reliability is what you would expect from a wheel gun. Perfect. I would carry this gun if needed but you won't be hitting anything at long range with this DA only model. I would prefer a DA/SA but I got this in a trade so I had to take what I could get. Once I got used to the trigger it was better but I ran out of ammo
