Being an Eagle Scout myself, I know there is no way for a Scout to perform his everyday tasks at camp. Maybe the BSA has dulled down the focal points of the wilderness way so that a knife is no longer a required tool......which would be lame.

I think it is only the UK Boy Scouts that are doing this so far...either way it is still ridiculous...I don't even remember how old I was when I got my first pocket knife.
