| I have seen one of these at the shop here for $195 and was considering it since ammo is so cheap.
Anyone know if mags are cheap or hard to get? I believe these guns have a good history of working well, anybody know any specifics?

| They tend to blow the firing pins. Florida Ammo Traders ( the guy I did shows with) has stainless firing pins for $25 bucks. I guess the old ones are brittle due to improper heating. Some of the ammo can be very hot also because it was intended for SMG's. The stuff has awesome penetrating powers. Supposed to defeat a lot of body armor. The mags can be semi hard to come by but they are not like the SIG mags! | |

| That's not the pistol I was thinking of the other night when we were talking Kaiser.
I have shot my buddies CZ-52 a couple of times and it sorta feels like a brick in your hand. The gun funcioned fine but the ergonomics kinda suck. I want to say that he cuts down 223 brass and reloads for it but I may be thinking of a different cal. He only paid around $70 for his CZ but that was with his C&R license.

| Good link, thanks. I will be picking it up by friday, it's on hold right now. It comes with an old leather holster, two mags, cleaning rod, spare firing pin and the original box. I will pick up a box or two of ammo and we can shoot it this weekend and see what it does to some milk jugs compared to 9mm. | |

| So I was a psyched up to shoot this new piece and see what kinda damage I could inflict on some steel but that didn't happen.
I had bought two 70 rnd boxes of Yugo surplus from the store, corrosive primer I believe and made in 1963. I loaded the mags and first shot.....nothing, second ....nothing and so on. The rounds had good primer strikes but possibly a little light. Out of probably 20 or so rounds I had three actually discharge. We compared the firing pin to the spare that came with the gun and they appeared similiar.
I will go to the range one more time and try the same ammo and bring some Wolf Gold with both firing pins. I think it is bad primers but I want to be sure. Will update again.

| Maybe you should clean out the firing pin hole. My SKS had tons of cosmoline in the hole and prevented it from working correctly. The surplus ammo is known to have some hard primers. Especially the 7.62 subgun ammo | |
