| These two books are great references to have on hand after the balloon goes up as medical assistance may not be available. They cover all sorts of ailments and offer the remedies to take care of them for those with no medical training and little equipment to treat them. What books do you guys keep on hand for refernce after TSHTF. [img] [/img] | |

| I also have an old boy scout fieldbook, a US Army survival manual (FM 21-76), some random medical books (old lady is in the medical field), a knot tying book from my days in the CG. I guess it wouldn't hurt to have a few more! | |

| I was at Barne's and Noble the other day, and I was looking in the military history section, and I found that they sell a bunch of US Military field manuals, including escape and evasion, U.S. Army Ranger handbook, U.S. Army survival manual, and U.S. Army guerilla warfare and USMC small wars manuals....
They were all between $10 - $20

You want to make sure you're legal when you're racing across state lines trying to out run the zombies! Tree of liberty, It was really uncomfortable when I was pulled over in NJ with multiple assault rifles and my complete collection of guns and ammo. I was moving down to FL and had my classic car on the trailer at 2 am. The trailer lights did not work properly and two state troopers pulled us over. They went over my car with flashlights and then my truck as well. Fortunately it was a full size suburban stuffed to the top. Maybe they realized it would take hours to look through everything. Once they found out I was moving they just gave me a verbal and told me to use my hazards. Thank god!
